Parco Adda Nord in un giorno di fine inverno
IT. Quando mi sono svegliato non avevo le idee chiarissime. Avevo trovato il Buteo il giorno prima ed ero molto contento, ma non ancora sazio. La poiana è e resterà il mio primo rapace osservato e fotografato, e molto probabilmente non mi fermerò finché non avrò realizzato lo scatto che meriterà uno spazio sulla parete del mio studio.
Non sapendo bene dove dirigermi, ho optato per il Parco Adda Nord, tornando lì tre mesi dopo il mio giro di dicembre. Ho avuto il piacere di osservare i classici acquatici: folaghe, germani reali e cormorani. Ho incontrato anche una splendida capinera e uno svasso.
Alcuni ragazzi mi hanno parlato di gufi che si posano abitualmente su un ramo a circa tre chilometri da lì, ma sapevo che, arrivando ormai a quell’ora, avrei trovato quasi certamente il posatoio vuoto.
Così mi sono semplicemente goduto la passeggiata, alla ricerca di ciò che la natura avrebbe deciso di mostrarmi. Nel post del blog mostro alcuni martin pescatori, ma non essendo riuscito ad avvicinarmi, le fotografie sono poco più di un appunto nel mio Field Journal.

Le immagini seguenti sono il risultato di scatti realizzati a mano libera con Nikon Z9 e ottica 180–600 mm. I soggetti erano spesso sovraesposti.
EN. When I woke up, my ideas were not very clear. I had found the Buteo the day before and I was very happy, but not yet satisfied. The buzzard was and will remain the first bird of prey I ever observed and photographed, and I will most likely not stop until I capture the shot that deserves a place on the wall of my studio.
Not really knowing where to go, I decided to return to the Parco Adda Nord, three months after my visit in December. There I had the pleasure of observing the classic water birds: coots, mallards and cormorants. I also encountered a beautiful blackcap and a great crested grebe.
Some people told me about owls that usually perch on a branch about three kilometers from there, but I knew that by the time I would arrive the perch would most likely be empty.
So I simply enjoyed the walk, looking for whatever nature was willing to show me. In the blog post I show a few kingfishers, but since I was not able to get close enough, the photographs are little more than notes in my Field Journal.

The following images are the result of handheld shooting with the Nikon Z9 paired with the 180–600 mm lens. The subject was in flight at an altitude of approximately 70–80 meters and at a distance of about 200–250 meters from my position. As a consequence, the files required a significant crop, which inevitably led to a noticeable loss in image quality.
